Concept work - Party in the Graveyard
So, what's this idea all about then Amy?
Alright, so my idea was that in a parallel word, instead of human characters, everyone is some form of humanoid creature/hybrid... So you obviously get your cuter/more attractive animals, like cats, wolves, ...(whatever animal you find particularly majestic or handsome)... But what happens when you have the more terrifying animals? Like sharks, and insects! What if, unlike their exterior, like people, it may not reflect upon their personality.
I guess my narrative is basically 'don't judge a book by its cover'.
Jamie, the main character is a shark. A hammerhead shark... and a damn timid one too! He's kind, sweet natured, loves all, and likes to see the best in people despite being cast out. He retreats to an old mason on a clifftop graveyard, away from the world, where other individuals can't hurt him. Jaime begins to re-build the old mansion into a fun club house, and is pleasantly surprised by the living dead at this strange graveyard. They become his friends, and do not judge him. They just have fun, and he feels like he belongs.
(Awwwwwhhhhh)
So, he's bullied in school, and the most popular girl, a slightly boyish mannered Vixen decides to follow him home to prank poor Jaime. She's shocked by the graveyard, and undead that rise before her... but curiosity gets the better of her, and she keeps returning... resulting in befriending Jaime... She changes the way she looks at others, and starts to see her own 'friend circle' differently... How could she have ever been so cruel and hostile!?
True friendships last and bloom. Beauty is on the inside.
So..that was the premise of the idea...
other than that, I just wanted an excuse to make some zombie characters!
